What is Cleveland Kurentovanje?

Since its inception in 2013, the Slovenian National Home is proud to have been the host venue for Cleveland Kurentovanje (koo-rehn-toh-VAHN-yeh), a multi-day "Slovenian Mardi Gras" festival, celebrating the end of winter and the beginning of spring.

The festival activates the entirety of the Slovenian National Home's extensive campus, making use of the main ballroom, the Kenick Room, the lower hall, the bocce court, Clubroom, outside courtyard and parking lot.

Cleveland Kurentovanje is a volunteer-run organization and is a program of the Slovenian Museum and Archives.
